I have no connection other then it's in the town I went to school and lived out side of;

Check out the head. The drivers side door opens so could be Canadian or converted.

The interesting head looks like a four valve Rajo and the drivers door looks a lot like a 1926/27 door? Home conversion then.

Looking at the name of the town, it reminded me that there was only one US Army General who was killed by enemy action, and most people do not know his name.

I see some of it that may be 1915, but there's a lot of it that isn't

Is the shifter for a Ruckstell?
If so, a Ruckstell, 5 wire wheels, a highly desirable engine- who cares if the car is complete?
The rest is a bonus & almost free.

That's a G&G vacuum fuel pump on the firewall. Commonly found on Chevrolet Superiors and possibly other makes\models.

I have a button that was claimed to have been taken from General Canby's tunic after he was shot, there is no way to verify it, but I keep it with the rest of the Modoc related things.

According to Wikipedia, Simon Bolivar Buckner Jr. was a Lt. General when he was killed, he was promoted to full general posthumously.

Canby, Oregon, Canby, California and Canby, Minnesota were named after Gen. Canby.

Hey Joe,.
He slipped by me, I think that even with the rank of Lt.General, that would count. Most people will name General Custer as being one killed, but he was just a Lt. Colonel, he had been a general before he was busted in rank for incompetence, how prophetic was that?
