I have a K R Wilson stand with engine block adapter. The question I have will the same adapter work with a Model A engine block? Or did they make something else?
Larry: KRW made adapters for T, A and V-8 engines. All are different.
Larry Holderman:
All the KRW engine adapters I have ever had have fit both Model A and Model T.
I have an early KRW engine adaptor that is Model T only.
I am looking for an KRW A or T adapter if anyone has one for sale
Now you guys got me thinking. Where this stand came from the guy only had T items, no A's. I will have to dig out an A block and see. Don, you state that you have a early stand, how do I tell what I have?
If the adapter has 4 holes in the water connection bolt area, it will fit both T and A.
All's you need is a picture.
Larry, most all the adapter's are T and A with 4 hole's because they were made after 1928 when the model A came out. The one's made before the model A had 2 hole's in the water connection for the T only.
Add me to the list needing a T head adapter, I have one for V8 and will trade/sell it to get me one for a T. Jerry
Yes, mine has the four holes so I will be able to use it on my A blocks.
