Hi: Here is another use of old model T parts. Some farmer or blacksmith needed something to build a grindstone with. Model T to the rescue again. This just proves what it took to survive before Lows or Home Depot. Made with 2 running board brackets, 2 pitman arms, a couple tie rods/drag links. and a clincher wheel. It appears to have had a rod in front of the stone to hold something. Maybe a can for water or oil to grind with.?? I found it at a yard sale, and thought it was interesting,so it followed me home. Donnie.... grindstone 1grindstone 2grindstone 3grindstone 4

I DO love it!!! You know what Yogi said, "For people that like this kind of thing this is the kind of thing they like." I like that kind of thing and like this thing.

Now that pedal one is great! Both feet in use.

This old time grinding wheel used a whole block, but hand cranking only!

Was going to take it home from the tractor show, but way too heavy!

In 1956 we moved in our new house that dad and grand dad built, after we moved back from South bend In. We had no electricity for a couple years. All my grand dad ever used were hand tools. KB
