Someone mentioned that's descendants of Frank Kulick posted on this forum a year or so back. I thought I remembered that they did too, but am unable to locate the thread.
Can anyone help?
Thank you,
Rob
Bump.
Thanks Bud.
I hope to find out where they are, and try to find photos of some of the Model K racers. We don't seem to have any photos of the K racer after 1906 (except the 1907 wreck). I spoke with Glenn Miller (Sweepstakes) and he believes the K racer at THF was just a flat track racer.
Ford said they were preparing a six cylinder racer for the Savannah Grand Prize, and that car would have had to look more like the longer wheelbase, spring suspension racer we see at Ormond and Cape May in 1905 and 1906.
Thanks again,
Rob
Rob,It might also have been posted on the International Club forum before in mho they screwed it all up!! Bud.PS,Maby in the Model T Times?? Bud.

I hope you have better luck than I did. I searched for 20 years to find Mr. Whites (of the Snowmobile Co.) grand children, his grand son would talk to be about him and said his sister had all the family album but would not tell how to locate her. After a few more years I located her she was no help. If there are family problems(
like in this family) they won't talk about them and the real history is lost.
Bob
Thanks guys. As I remember it (that's not a good sign ) I thought they (Kulick family members) reached out to us (forum).
I already tried a Dr. Kulick with middle name Frank in MI, but no luck.
As with most things (like my tools), I'll find them eventually,
Rob
Could you be thinking of Jim Haas, the grandson of Joe Jagersberger of RAJO fame instead? He has posted here at least once that I know of.
Derek,
Possibly, but I thought I recalled a Kulick. Then, another poster mentioned the same thing on another thread. I sent him a pm (poster) but did not hear anything back.
I tried to google/MTFCA search with no results.
Thanks,
Rob
I remember reading that forum thread as well, and I remember checking census files afterwards. I'll be darned if I can remember if it was Kulick, Hass or someone else, and I can't find the thread either. Strange.

I'm quite sure it was a grandaughter of Frank Kulick?? Bud.
Bud,
I think so too. And it was long enough ago that it didn't really mean much to me at the time.
I'm surprised a "Frank Kulick" search of MTFCA through google doesn't pull it up.
Rob
If the thread was deleted it may not have been cached by Google. I routinely save backups of both Forums roughly every month and searching those comes up blank too.

Did Frank Kulick die in 1965? or was he killed in a racing mishap earlier?
Bob
Bob,
Yes, Frank died in 1965. Many of his racing peers died on the tracks, and Mr. Kulick had several close brushes while racing.
This is a link to "The Speedster Hall of Fame", headquartered in Lincoln NE. Frank Kulick is one of the inductees.

Bump!
Hi:
There is a Frank Kulick, in Connecticut. Don't know if he would be related to the Frank Kulick you're looking for but it's a small world.
