I think it is interesting that there is still someone using a saw like this after 60 years, and being the original builder.
I know that there were plenty of these rigs made but I am willing to bet they are getting fewer and fewer as time goes on.
What this video shows is the adaptability of the Model T. People knew how to run the Model T motor and were comfortable with them.
Nice video. I like the radiator fan/paddle governor, really simple but seems to work well.

Thanks Herb, nice video!. In my younger days I used a few different versions of saws like this, one was made using a Continental engine mounted on a cut down TT chassis. I also used a Mobilco Swing Saw, both free running and 'captured' to operate as a bench saw. It could be used, as illustrated, to fell trees, but more usually the blade was vertical for other work. Now I use just a boring chainsaw!
