Anybody going to Hershey that has a radiator for sale and could bring it along? My speedster is almost done and I don't have one.I have a reconditioned 29
rad.but I can't get it to set low enough in the frame so the hood does not go uphill towards the rad. Thanks,Fritz I am in the choc.field

Fritz,

There is a guy in the chocolate field that sells new T radiators right around the corner from the Coker tire and Hemmings Motor News stands. He's right on the corner can't miss him.

I'll be in the Red field @ RNC2 & RND2. If I have room I plan to bring several -- high T, nickel plated brass T, 28 chevy, & 29 Chevy. All tested ok.

If I were buying a radiator I would not buy a used 100 year old radiator. Fins loose from the tubes, blocked tubes etc.. IMHO

I understand budget constraint though.

Budget constraint aside, a used radiator doesn't have to be 100 years old. Our 26 roadster had a radiator in it that came from a car that was restored in the late 80's, unfortunately wrecked and parted out. Couldn't tell it from a new one cosmetically or performance wise.

Gary, hopefully the buyer can tell the difference.
