Below are a few pages of Ford Model B information. I haven't tried to rehash former history or specifications, but am attempting a different take on the model.
Over the last several years, I thought the Model B was just one of those "obscure" cars that didn't sell well, probably didn't perform well, and was left by the wayside of Ford history for good reason. However, after reviewing some of the financial information, along with the sales history, I'm arriving at the conclusion that, just as with the Model K, the Model B was an important part of Ford Motor Car history.
Probably the biggest surprise to me is the fact that the Model B was probably the largest profit maker for FoMoCo in the one year it was primarily marketed. In 1905, a significant number were sold, about 440 cars.
I'm only posting two pages of the report. If you would like to read more, or read the "Horseless Age" review of the Model B, click on the link below and open up the entire paper.
These are my opinions and conclusions. I hope you enjoy the information as much as I've enjoyed collecting the articles,
Rob

Try" 2011-09-09_14-03-24_262.3gp "at you tube, and watch the Model B running before the OCF a few years ago. If that doesn't work look for 1905 m Model B Ford.
Very interesting! (at least to me)
Thanks Rob!
