This timer has been sitting in the box for 90 years or so and still looks like it's good to go.
Guarantee starts when installed on engine ??? Postage for replacement may be extra.

But centrifugal force is working to pull the contact open - isn't it? That is opposite to what is needed so the spring would have to be very stiff to hold the contact down and that would cause wear at all speeds since the contact force decreases with increased RPM. Oh well. It sure looks nice and new and is interesting. I need to just admire it as an antique and turn off the engineering brain ha ha.
Should be a museum piece something new in box and
that shape would be in a glass enclosure.
