This has been an interesting weekend -
It started with a car show at the Rockingham County NH nursing home.
It was advertised as somewhat different car show with no classes, no trophies, and no entry fee.
It was to be a Show and Tell - where the owners show their cars and the residents tell of the memories that the cars brought back to them.
Unfortunately the T club did not get the word out but there were numerous cars and lots of memories for all.
It was exciting for me because the other T that showed up is still owned by the family that was a part of the club my Dad belonged to in the 60's.
So you might say our T's got to know each other again.
Here are some pictures:
My T and her from from years past!
People enjoying the day:
Almost forgot- The second part of the weekend included the addition of a second antique car in my garage.
I finally got the 1931 Model A Town Sedan to New Hampshire.
The first thing my wife said was "I don't think it is a good idea to sell it!"
The 1919 T isn't going to know what to do with all her old friend showing up!
We do something similar. There are cars from many eras between the early Model T's and the 50's. Many people come out to see them. Some have things to say about the cars and others just look.
The A and T finally together in the same garage again!
See them smiling?
Also got a coat, but may have to make sure it is really dead before bringing it in the house!
