Hey hey! For those of us who are not able to make it to Hershey, but know someone who is, put your requests for here in this thread.
I personally would like someone to look for me a Bosch DU-4 magneto. I'll be glad to pay $20 as a service charge above whatever it costs to procure the item. Obviously, the closer you live to North Carolina the better, but I don't mind paying shipping from wherever as long as I actually get one. Just PM me if you are going and willing to look and I'll provide my phone number. I'm hoping one can be found for less than $200. I'm going to have it rebuilt and an impulse coupler added anyway, so the cheaper the better, as long as it's complete.
It was wisely pointed out to me on my last tour that while my current DU-4 is running great, my choice of alternative ignition systems means that NOBODY else on the tour will be able to help me if it decides to quit. Hence, I need an extra
Seth , if anyone finds one, let me know, I will bring it back for you , to Raleigh NC, if needed
last week sent a pm to Dan Hatch, haven't heard from him, any body have his e-mail? Jerry
OH! One other thing, I'm also definitely in the market for some Sears Allstate Safety tread whitewall tires - I have 21" Haye's split rims and 4 of those tires, but I need at least one spare. I've never been able to find any before so I'll take all of them if someone finds any.
Keep updating the list until the last minute - I'll keep checking my phone as I enjoy the flea market this year.
And while I'm at it, I'm looking for a '25 steel pickup bed and will be there to pick it up and instruct my wife and son to carefully get it back to the camper for me. ;)
Please post if you find one!
all the du4s on e-bay you want, most in your price range.charley
Jerome: I do not think I got your PM. Try another one. Dan

Spaces are CR33-36
Dan is going to find me a car :-)

A large Hershey bar with almonds
You guys must be made of money, Seth is the only person so far who has hinted at a maximum price he'd like to pay for an item (just kidding!) ;>)
They've got some pretty big Hershey bars there, Dennis. You had better specify maximum size.
Hey thanks for the input on there being DU-4's on eBay. I've got a few I'm watching now. I still would like to find out what folks see at Hershey because the ones on eBay are either really rough or really $$$. I may just have to cough up more money. Also! Don't forget those tires I'm looking for!
Mark you and I are thinking alike - I wish I could just say "hey pick me up this and this" and never worry about how much it costs. Although that may stem from me being in my 20's with limited disposable income compared to some these rich (relatively speaking) retired folks!
Id be happy just to get to Hershey this year. But this year because of my daughters wedding I'm forced to miss it.
Dan, sent one last night, in case you have the wrong e-mail on your profile here's mine, it hasn't changed in over 14 years.

Will: When I was ask the question "What will you do if you daughter want to get married when Hershey goes on?" Reply: It better be in the White Field!!!! Dan
So what day does Hershey actually start and how long does it last?
I need the timing cover for a 1909-10.Any help would be appreciated..
Seth, it's advertised 9-12 October this year:
http://www.hersheyaaca.org/fallmeet.html
Saturday is car show day, not so many vendors left by then. Here's the schedule of events: http://www.hersheyaaca.org/fm_schedule.html
Roger: There are not many vendors left where I was NOW. Big rain coming next 2 days and a lot of us have left. Sure hated to, but not going to sit there and watch it rain. There is always next year. Dan
Anybody seen anything yet?!?
I need top bows for the Roadster. '25.
I need a model nh 26-27 carb that is rebuildable.
Haven't seen any requested items yet, but have been scoring some killer deals compared to normal. Lots of vendors left or covered their stuff, but there are hardly any buyers to grab what deals are there too.
Picked up a box of a dozen bands for $10, an early steering column for $5, and an aluminum hogshead for $25. Have even left some things I didn't want to try and carry back to the camper. Got pretty soaked this afternoon but it still beats working or sitting at home.

WHAT! you didn't see any Hershey bars with almonds!
I'm in need of a chocolate fix.
I was hoping to go this year but they changed my work schedule AGAIN and I couldn't get time off. What really up sets me is my brother lives within an hours drive so lodging wouldn't be an issue.
Hershey bars and other assorted treats will be purchased tomorrow during the annual chocolate world tour. I usually buy a couple hundred bucks worth and it lasts me until the next year. Well, it's supposed to anyway.
Just went to Applebees and didn't have to wait for a table. It's pouring now.
