can anybody tell me if a 1914 roadster rear quarter panel is the same as a 1915 to 1922 thanks bernie
Close, but no. The bead next to the top of the rear fender is flat on top, for the flat-top fender.
hard to guess what you are after! to me, the rear quarter of a roadster would be the side of the trunk! anyway, i have a 14 sitting next to a 23, which would be very close to the early type, and there are several minor things that would not be the same. i believe the curve for the seat back tac rail has a different shape, longer flat before the rise? top of doors are straight, no slight curve to meet the cowel area, others will know more i'm sure
Sorry, I missed the word "roadster" and I was talking about a touring. So never mind.
The early 15 roadsters are the same with the inner and outer tack strip. The later 15's to 22 have one outer tack strip that goes under the metal that is bent 90 degrees around the top edge. They can be used on a 14.
thanks for the info its what i needed. bernie
