I have been searching the internet for the past few days for period logos. Things like the Bosch logo, Roof, Laurel, Firestone, Dunlop. Anything like that really. Didn't know if any one had any good pictures of them or links to places where they might be available? You see some of them in old adverts and pictures but it would be really great to get just the logo so that its easier to have vinyls etc made.
Hi Joe: Do you ever use google? On the search page somewhere there is an "images" "button" you can hit, then type in what you are looking for. I suspect all the search places have something like that, but I use google... I just typed in fisk tire boy, and the pictures are endless. Well, not endless really, but there are lots of pictures that might work for someone who is looking for fisk tire stuff. By the way, I am a computer idiot. Good luck!
From your profile this appears to be your first posting on the forum. But you have several Ts -- so welcome to the forum and we would welcome your help in those areas you have experience in.
For Joe Van Evera -- I also thought it would be very easy to "google" some logos. But when I just now tried it -- it wasn't nearly as easy as I had hoped. It appears that Bosch for the most part just used block letters.
While I didn't really find a good lead on where to look for the logos Joe mentioned, I did run across the sign below, that I enjoyed:
I'm not sure which site I snagged that from -- but there are several with it for sale. And if you didn't notice the last small print -- it read: "Not a paying customer in years"
Again welcome to the forum. Hopefully someone will have a better lead on the logos.

Go to Google, choose images, type in vintage bosch logo
Is this what you are looking for?
Thank you all for your suggestions. I have been looking over the internet for the past few days and have found some but the ones I am particularly interested in are those for Laurel or Roof. I believe I have seen one before on Fred Houstons Laurel racer saying 'Roof Peugeot Head Valve Equipment' or something along those lines. These seem a little more difficult to find.
Thanks Hap for all the advice, might have to find that one and stick it on the wall!
Thanks John for the Bosch, that will be very helpful in the future.
