Henry Ford used to stay at the Rock House in Burbank on his trips.

This one really got me. Found a front image too that I cant get but shows the car is not only shortened but made extra narrow for the little trail. Anyone seen this before?

The car in front of the real estate office does not look like a Ford. Any ideas on the make?

Could the shortened wheelbase Ford be on the Mt. Wilson road?

I lived in Burbank as a kid,for almost 20 years the picture doesn't do it justice but the Pumpkin Inn was a huge orange building shaped like a pumpkin, well known in the area. When I was a kid it was turned into a hardware store.

Is it possible that the "steam" you see in front of the truck is an early street sweeper? It looks like a long roller broom.

Could it be a steam powered truck?
