I've lived in L.A. all my life, and have never heard of the Sunset Country Club. I've got to do some checking! Great old photos, and I wonder if that road is still accessible?

Erich, I looked it up on Google Earth and found it still exists. It is known as Country Club Dr. The houses at the bottom of the canyon seem to be newer and the ones further up seem to be old. The road appears to end at a run-off catch basin. If you look at the surrounding mountains you can see a lot of trails that the T must have driven on, before ecology took over. You may inquire with some one in the older houses if the T is in one of the old garages. It would be great if you could find it still intact.
