when, if ever, did ford use brass headlamp forks?
I don't believe they ever did. The only brass ones I've seen have been "fantasy" reproductions.
thanks for the reply....found a pair in with a bunch of parts i acquired. they sure look pretty though.
I have heard horror stories about vibration causing them to break and ruining a very expensive headlamp.
I can see that happening.
not going to use them, just trying to figure out what to do with them.
E-bay. Should be worth several hundred. :0(

After one of the potmetal repro ones broke one night a dozen years ago, and I dragged the brass headlamp on the pavement by the cable, I found unpolished brass/bronze ones at a swap. They are much sturdier. At the time, I understood Lang sold only the potmetal ones.
I guess you could sharpen a point on the threaded end and drive it into a wall and hang a flower pot on it.
actually they are quite sturdy. i wouldn't have any problem using them on a car if i were looking for bling. these were even gold plated so they wouldn't have to polish them often.
Stuart send me a email if you want to sell them.
