a fellow that i built an engine for had his car(speedster)out this weekend. Pop-up pistons, balanced flywheel, oil throws, super oil feed to the front, X cut oil passage rod caps, oiler holes in rod, ss valves, harden seats, wood bands, NH carb, four coils. So quite you had to check the fan to see if the engine was running. Fast? He had to change his pants after driving the car the first time.
Bands need to be broke in but it took our local hill without a wimper of distress. I'm geting pretty good at putting life back in these old cars.
