We are going to have a few reps from Timken Bearings at work on Oct 30th. Anyone have any Model T bearing questions you would like me to ask. I do not know enough about bearings so you have to give me enough information to ask logical and thought out questions.

Just a side note, I have been doing a lot of traveling for work lately so there is a chance that I will not be able to attend their informational visit.

You could ask if the sales units are in a billion yet for those taper roller bearings.

In 1923 they hadn't yet sold 100 million of 'em.

Ask them whether they are made in China and imported here as reported.

Ah, be sure to ask them why the heck they didn't tell folks they were packaging Chinese crap in the familiar orange and black Timken boxes?

Just a thought...grin...

I had to find out here on this board that they were doing that. Funny that my own Timken rep didn't mention it.

Ask them when they are going to do a run of the threaded Model T front bearings!
