We received a small stock order in today. I went out and opened every box and looked at the country of origin on the inner races. (I'd get lynched if I sent a Chinese bearing to a millwright.)
Fully 25% of them were manufactured in Australia. I had no idea. Interesting. These all came from the same DC (distribution center) and USA and Aussie bearings were packed together in the same boxes.
Danial,
Do they rotate in different directions (clockwise vs counter clockwise)? Do you have to put some in upside down? :-)
Danial,
Just "funin". Bet the Au's are lots better than the Chicoms.
Ha! Good one.
When it comes to rolling elements, when money is no object, I'll pick just about anything over the Chinese product.
Yes they have made some quality advances in the past 10-15 years in a lot of areas, but their bearings are still Crap with a capital "C".
