Anyone know of someone who has used one of these in a flathead V8.
Hey Less look over on the Ford Barn, early V8...Joined them back when I got my 1948 Ford..There's a lot of good guys over there with " Bu-Koo" Flathead knowledge ...I sold all my Ts and truck loads of T parts when I bought 1948 Ford Station Wagon...I had Ts for 55years ,but with no place to store all my stuff ,I decided on just one project...So my 1920 Depot Hack turned into a 48 Woodie...Hope to see you there....Mtn Wudy...!
Carl
Thank you for the information
What is the 433? I have the 404 and 1007 but have never heard of a 433 and could not find it in my early 60s Honest Charley cat.

This is what I have found offered for sale now. Have you used both of the ones you have? How do you like the performance?
If I remember right the "404" was referred to as the "eliminator" You either eliminated the competition or eliminated the engine!!
Thank you for your response
Have used both on round track cars and both ran well. I believe that they also made a radius tapped version, the sr 404. I also used adj tappets with the higher nut head on them with these cam. Std Johnson tappets with the low head would not stay adjusted.
