I whined on the forum about a generator problem a week or so ago.
He sent a PM and said to call him about it.
He spent a good hour or maybe more talking me through some things to make it work.
I have a ways to go but at least I'm not scared of T generators any more.
Very nice of him to help out the way he does.
Thanks Ron!

Ron is a great help and he really understands the electrical stuff.

Of course some of us use a more simplified theory of electricity. You know, "Electricity is only Smoke." And all you have to do is make sure the smoke never is allowed to escape from the wires. It also helps to have a non-starter and non-generator car -- as there are fewer places for the smoke to try and escape. (For a more scholarly summary please see: http://www.supercub.org/forum/showthread.php?24170-Electrical-Theory-The-Importa nce-of-Smoke-by-Joe-Lucas

Respectfully submitted,

I agree. Ron knows his stuff and he's not stingy about sharing with others. Glad to see you're still a generator guy and didn't go over to the dark side. Seeing an alternator under the hood of an antique car is like seeing an air liner in the sky in the background in a western movie.

I too agree. Ron has, in all inquiries, given unsparingly of his time and provided excellent advice.

He rebuilt a set of coils for my '13 and the car now starts every time on "mag."

What happened to that little boy that helped with coil work in past photos? Did he get a big shock and grow several feet?

He is the best . I was told to give him a call when I had questions about my coils we talked and then I mentioned that I was only 15 he was very impressed . He said for me to send down my coils and he would rebuild them at only the cost of the return shipping and being able to save that money I was able to get a bunch of part that I need . HE ROCKS !!!!!
