Henry Ford III, Henry's great-great grandson will be speaking at this months meeting of the Orange County Model T Ford club.
The meeting location has been changed to the Villa Park City Hall. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m.
Address is 17855 Santiago Blvd. Villa Park, Ca. 92861.
Also attending will be Garrett Green founder of the Green Team and winner of the 2013 Montana 500!
I am bummed that I will be out of town again and unable to attend.
Could it be recorded somehow?
What is the date please? Thanks
Sorry Mark, Meeting is Tuesday the 12th.
I believe this meeting is only open to Orange County Model T Ford Club members.
Greg I under stand. I am a member of the Kern County Model T ford Club and the Model T Ford Club of America. Maybe a little write up after the meeting. Hope to see you at our 23rd Bakersfield National Swap Meet and Pre WWII Car show next April.
Greg, Are you sure? I did not read anything in our newsletter and we have always welcomed others to come to our meetings. I know the meeting place was changed to make more room.
Mark, If you would like to attend our meeting I bet we could make it happen for you?
Yes, I hope they video it for those of who are unable to attend.
I attended a recent Orange County Club meeting and was made most welcome as a visitor. Just like a meeting back here in Australia! I'm sure that all Model T enthusiasts would be made most welcome as I was. They are a great group of Model T people and very passionate about their T's. Wish I could be there to hear Henry Speak.

Henry 111 speaking
I had the pleasure of MCing the 100th Anniversary of the Model T banquet at the Piquette plant and found myself sitting next to HF III. He is a VERY personable guy with a great sense of humor. We hit it off well. We had rather large name cards at our table and as the banquet was coming to an end, and knowing he'd be swamped when it did, I asked him if he would sign his name card for me. I jokingly asked him to sign it, "To Marty, I never would have made it without you" signed Henry Ford, III" And he did!!! Of course, I still have the name card and a photo of me with him. I should post a pic of it.
Yes, Warwick, our local T clubs are more than glad to have other car guys attend our meetings. Even if they are not a member of another club is OK. Of course we encourage visitors to join our club and receive our newsletter but not required
I have always encouraged people here on the Forum when visiting in the SoCal area to contact us and I've made arrangements to check out some members T's.
I had a great time in the Florida area driving and visiting local T's there on a recent vacation.
Maybe someone might clarify specifics about our next meeting?
I just got off the phone with the Orange County Chapter President to see what the capacity is for this meeting. As it turns out, they were only able to get a room with about 20 more seats than our usual location. The regular meeting location in the train station wasn't going to accommodate the Orange County membership. Hopefully there will be enough seats for O.C. members. A larger capacity location didn't pan out so this wasn't promoted to other chapters. I will attempt to video the meeting and post a youtube link so that others may see what Mr. Ford has to say.
Thanks Bill for the clarification and someone can have our two seats since we are out of town!
We had a great meeting tonight with a packed house! Henry Ford III shared a lot of information on the current Ford and Lincoln brands and was very kind to give autographs and allow photos during the meeting. I did video record his talk and will try to edit it down to a format which may be shared. Here's a photo of Henry, my wife Cindy and me
