We work with The Henry Ford Museum and have posted a number of fine images from their collection. A rare colorized lantern slide and the Model T camper photo at the top are just some of the dozen plus pages of photos you will enjoy @ http://theoldmotor.com/?s=%22the+henry+ford%22&paged=11
Note that the same pictures are able to be viewed without the disfiguring Old Motor text at the Henry Ford website: http://www.thehenryford.org/imagesource.aspx

Royce....Thanks for also sharing that generic link, but the photos we have posted for The Henry Ford collection will not show up there.
Are you sure?

That last link gets me a screen full of code.
Royce, What I meant are the photos we have on our site, by an arrangement with The Henry Ford, are full-sized photos and many of them do not show up at the link you listed.
Yes there are many photos there that are enjoyable there but they are small sized and and also watermarked as that is the area were they sell photos to help support the museum.
The watermarks we use on our site are used to prevent people from stealing the photos and then turning around and selling them on Ebay and short changing the museum.
Compare the photo below with the one we have posted.
We have had to water mark all of our photos and we also are able to embed a code in the photo that cannot be removed. With the code we can
easily find any of our photos that have been taken w/out permission and displayed elsewhere on the internet.
The Henry Ford also protects all of their photos as if you try to post them elsewhere all you see is code and no photo.
We have to do this as people steal our photos all of which are copyrighted and then put them up on Ebay and other places for sale.
Many people view the internet as "The Wild West" where they can just take whatever they want......
David,
Yes, I understand that.
The photos are available for viewing or purchase of full size images at the link I provided.
Note that I often post images here which are subsequently re - posted on other sites across the internet. I don't have a problem with that - I am glad if anyone wants to use any image I post for any non - commercial reason.
I have not given permission for use of my images on a for - profit website. If you wish to use any of my images on a for - profit basis please contact me directly.
