This Runabout has oval rear window, seems to be a common thing.
Was it something the car was ordered?
Both cars have accessory lenses I see.
Thank you for this picture Jay.
Front tires about ready for new shoes.
Notice the plate? If they looked like that back then it's no wonder you can't find a decent one from that era today.
Those headlight lenses are genuine Ford. It certainly isn't a pickup, I don't know what that back end could be, but notice the lack of fenders, and an aftermarket top.
Note the box on back not factory "turtle deck"
and no rear fender.

The curve at the back of the body looks more like a Touring doorway than a Roadster back to me. I hope they don't get e ticket for not having rear fenders.
Rich
Looks like they got their money's worth out of the front tires!
I think they are waiting for a tow truck to move the handyman's rig so they can get at their squad car parked behind. They could push it out of the way them selves but not with the fancy duds they're sporting.
Jay,
How do you know they're police detectives? They could be gangsters!
If it's a law enforcement vehicle, I'm surprised at the missing rear fender(s) thing......???
Pennsylvania license plate 1921. Two G men with a cut off car to haul confiscated hooch.
