Be on the alert out West for a stolen enclosed car trailer. California License # 4JC8929 Its an Interstate - all white - 20 plus feet long.
It was stolen out of the driveway last night in Fair Oaks, Ca. If you see one that's suspicious call the Highway patrol. Owner is Mother Lode Model T Club member Junette Avey Brown. Cell is 916 759-7509.

I think it's time to re-examine the concept of exiling criminals. Plenty of uninhabited atolls and islandettes in the Pacific. Give 'em a fishing pole and a bucket of worms and say, "Bye-bye."

Also, when local law enforcement took a report on the theft, did they enter any information in NCIC?

Also, and I realize that this won't help locate the stolen trailer, but I'm sure we'd all be interested in whether or not he trailer was "secured" with some type of hitch lock, and if so, what type of security device and was there any indication/evidence found to possibly indicate how the device was compromised?

Unless used in some type criminal activity, i.e. transporting drugs, stolen property, etc., being that today is a holiday, the trailer might have been "borrowed" for some "low-life(s)" for moving household goods, etc and will probably turn up abandoned in some secluded area or parking lot in another community, anywhere from locally to clear across the country.

It'll be tough to actually get anyone or any agency to actually look for the trailer, but in the meantime, I hope it turns up,.......harold

I keep a lock in my trailer latch but anyone that wants to steal the trailer will be prepared for that.

Mount a hidden iPhone in the trailer connected to power, so the phone does not go flat.

Then use the "Where's MY iPhone (Trailer)" app.

I know this is not a laughing matter. But I was trying to think of ways we could start protecting some of our items. In the 60's and 70's movies the spy's could always trace someone with a tracking device. With the technology we have now there must be an easy and cheap way for us to be able to track items.

Luckily it was empty. She has two very nice cars.
For those that knew Ron Brown, Junette is his widowed daughter-in-law.
