C'mon, it's a nice video. Somebody look at it!
Bob, can't while at work, but will soon.
Bob - You're right! That really IS a great video! "Hats off" to that grandpa for doing what he could to get the grandkids enthused! I did the same thing a couple years ago with my (then) 12 year old grand daughter and my 10 year old grandson, her brother. Locked the parking brake in neutral and let each one of them drive all over our church parking lot until they each got pretty comfortable steering at 8 - 10 mph. They did great, and to this day, they can say that "grandpa" taught them how to drive in a 1927 Model T Ford depot hack! Did the same thing with two other grandsons last year and they did well too!
In the video, two things,.....it's a very nice brass "T" touring, and I especially took note of the (attached) wheel chock, easily released by the driver upon departure! I actually had that idea for a safety "accessory" here in the somewhat hilly area I live in but dismissed the idea as "kinda' weird", but now that I've seen it done, I still think it's a pretty good idea, no matter how it looks!
It is an excellent video, Bob. What a great way to introduce youngsters to the wonders of driving, and hopefully innoculate them with a desire for T's for the future.
