You will need to enlarge this a bit to read since I had to shrink it to post here, Or you can see the full sized 397kb picture on the MTFCI forum posted on the TT Truck section
I have one of these which I rebuilt and intend to install in a TT. I am still looking for the shifting lever/mechanism which contains detents for each gear position/selection. I bid on one on eBay several years ago...it went for $239. I may have to make one myself.
Howdy John, I sure would like to see what the shifting lever for the unit looks like if you have any photos to post here.
I have a shifter for one, I will have to dig it out and post a picture
The installation diagram shows a *clamping sleeve* that attaches the drive shaft housing (torque tube) to the input of the transmission. I am missing that part also. It should be possible to make something equivalent.
I believe I have the parts on mine, except the wrong shifter. Maybe I can pull my part with the detents. Maybe take photo's + measure, might you be able to make one from that? I have the clamping sleeve also, can do the same if it helps.I was hoping to install mine this year, but it's looking like next year again.
oh yes, thanks for posting Jay!
