Can anyone recommend, or direct me to, a place to get a replacement contact pin for this external oiler mag post, or an entire replacement of this sort? Pin is too short to make contact. I don't know the 'make' , 'brand' , or the original vendor. See Attached photo.

You need to pull the hogs head and build up the button on the top of the magneto ring. You will need a big copper soldering iron to get it hot enough without burning anything. Don't use a torch directly on the mag ring. If you don't want to go to that much work, sometimes a few drops of solder on the end of the tip of the contact pin will do the trick. Also a thin washer placed at the right place can move it closer. Unfortunately, you will likely find a replacement contact the same length.
