Toon: Yes, my T is still there and is fine; I took her for a drive a few days ago. I don't think I'll have a chance to visit NL but will let you know if I do!

Are you arriving in your Model T?
Where do you arrive, and where are you planning to go?

Hi Chris, Flying in on Saturday but without the T. No plans yet; I'll only be staying a few days...was thinking of visiting the Morgan factory and perhaps a car museum?

The Morgan Factory. Something I have always wanted to do. I owned a 65' that I rebuilt. Sold it and have missed it ever since. Cannot import new Morgan to US due to stupid rules. And then again I can't wait 5 years to get one.

Constantine - I live in Kenilworth which is about an hour and a half from the Morgan Factory and half hour from both the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon and the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham Airport. Please send me a pm and we can see what we can work out.
Nigel.

What's next Constantine?!? After your Melbourne to Moscow trip - are you scouting a route for a Britain to Bangkok trip?

Of course once you get to Bangkok it's just a little jaunt down through Malaysia and you're back in Australia.

Constantine, I assume you have some business reason for a flying visit to the UK in this grey month, so have an itinerary and a hotel booked: where are you staying & when is your free time? I'd love to meet up with you if I could fit in with your schedule.

Morgan Visit - you need to pre-book here's the site.http://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/mmc/factoryvisits.html

Car Museums - depends what turns you on. Nigel points out the Gaydon museum is not far from Morgan Cars, that covers the British Motor Industry and is worth a visit. http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/

If racing cars are your thing, there is a good museum about hour & half drive NE of Morgans - http://www.donington-park.co.uk/about-donington/the-donington-grand-prix-collect ion/

If you are staying near London, Brooklands is about half-hour from me - http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/

Normally I would suggest a T man visits Neil Tuckett's farm, but Neil is spending November in New Zealand and I don't know who is minding the shop.

I'll PM you my contact details

Brooklands is a great place to visit, the tour of the Concorde is outstanding. I liked the banked track, the hill and of course the car museum.

This is a picture of the Concorde during the rebuild.

Dane and Tony, okay thanks for the info.

Ivan, I think new Morgan cars are for sale in the USA. See the dealer locator page on the Morgan website.

Seth, I actually do have a rough plan for another equally as interesting trip for either 2018 or 2028. Unless I can team up with someone this time or meet a wealthy widow or divorcee it's likely to be 2028.

Jem and Nigel, will send you a private message.

Constantine & I are visiting Brooklands this Sunday morning. If any UK members want to turn up to meet him, I'm sure he'd be delighted.
