What is this car? Not a K model Ford is it?
Anyone know?
I hope they have enough fuel in those tanks to fill the cars!
The nearest car is (I think) a 1912 McLaughlin Buick, a big one.
Gasoline was first sold in drug stores before the conventional filling station.
That looks like the refinery tank farm was selling direct to the public.

This last summer Our car club helped celebrate the spot where this first gas station in Canada was located. It's now a high rise condo complex in the heart of Vancouver. You'd never know the history behind the spot. The Vintage Car Club of Canada and the Vancouver Heritage Society put up a plaque at the location. We had a bunch of vintage cars out for the event. I had our original 1911 Stanley there. It was sold new in Vancouver and we are the 7th owner of the car. 4 other original Vancouver cars were there as well and a 1913 Henderson m/c. Probably all of them bought gas at one time or another from this location.
Here's a couple of links to some great pictures of this summers event. Even some T's were there.
