Sorry, but I could not resist putting these on here. It somehow makes all the work on the Model T seem worthwhile...
This is waiting for the start of the Ventura County Fair Parade back in August. We won a trophy in the Parade that I sent to Logan who lives in Florida.

Here's one of my 10 yr old grandson, Julian driving our T last summer.
Once I got him going driving around a field he didn't want to stop.

Motoring around with your grandchild in an antique car. I guess it don't get much better than that, huh?

Besides Logan looking like he's having a good time, something I notice in Jon's pictures is how everybody is dressed in August. I recall setting off Fourth of July fireworks in Lomita wearing a coat. It's one of the features of living near an ocean.

I saw (heard them first) hundreds of geese flying south this morning. That Montana weather is headed our way! BRRR!!!

Jon, Great seeing kids in Model T's. You never know who is enjoying it more: Grandpa, or the grandchildren!

I've taken my 13yr old GS on two tours this year.

The first for both of us was the Montana 500. Didn't know which one enjoyed the trip more. His first out of state almost.

Again he was able to go with me to the San Diego speedster endurance run last month. Was really good for him reading a map and following directions er giving me directions. I accused him of throwing the directions "out the window" after "we/I" made a wrong turn. hee hee. He said it wasn't on purpose.

Of course we came in too fast each time being experienced Montana 500 racers I said.

Kids of that age are perfect to introduce to preservation of old cars.

PS Mike, Those Honkers are down here now by the hundreds. They invade the local parks to graze. Wake me every morning sounding like a bunch of T's.

Jon you are creating memories that will last a life time for that young man. This is what it's all about, this is true preservation of the Model T! These are all great examples of getting youth involved in our hobby.

Here is my GS on his 7th birthday this past spring.

I actually posted this in another thread a few weeks ago, but I can't let myself be "out-grandkidded." This was on our local Fall Tour - my grandtwins Alex and Sofia waiting to go.
