Picked up a '14 to go with my '19. Perfect condition, black of course. This one is a truck.
Dave, They do tend to beget themselves. Good luck with your new ride!
Dave - Sounds good.....Could you please post a picture?
Thanks, Keith
Oh yes a picture. Silly of me to forget. Here you go.
Dave - I thought you got a '14 Model T....silly me!
Yes, it does look nice, and of course, it's in perfect condition....
Keith
Dave, You got me too, and it's not even April first yet.
Do you prefer the metal spokes to the wood?
Ha ha. If it helps any, it was built at The Rouge. When I ordered it, I told the dealer they could sell me any colour they wanted as long as it's black. Sorry couldn't resist making a gag out of it.
Good one......
Well that's a pretty nice looking old '14. Have those headlights been retro-fitted with the electric bulbs? That looks almost like a factory made box. I had an '09 similar to that body style. Someone converted it to cloth seats instead of the leather. Does that have the gas tank in the cowl or under the seat? Are you running those cheap old Viet Cong tires?
It's not correct. It should be brass not chrome. Chrome came out later!
True about the chrome. Must be Edsel's fault. Brass would look nicer and should be an option. Forward facing engine, full frame, rear wheel drive and black paint was the best I could do. I begged them for a two speed planetary transmission and they said "NO"!
Should be OT as well :-)
My philosophy: If you are going to trailer a T, you need a trailer with Ford hubcaps and a Ford to pull the trailer. Henry Ford would not approve of using any other make.

Hi Dave: The bumpers must be dealer installed accessories. Bumpers were not available till 26-27. You will probably lose points for there use on your 14. Good one .......
I pull my red 08 with my black 08. (1908 SR, 2008 F150)
Dave, they both look nice.
Thanks. I wonder if they will make all of them totally black for 2017. I bet I'll trade mine in five years from now for another new one so I can own two '19s.
If it has a water pump - don't tell Royce!
We have them in all colour in Australia.
Nice photo of a nice rig Bob! And your tow vehicle is actually a color, or colour, while black really ISN'T a color,....or colour! Oh,...I'm so confused.......
Dave: Would you call the truck "restored" or is it original?!
Looks like a barn or garage find to me!
I call it an original. The Universal Truck. Being a '14, it was built on the assembly line with interchangeable parts and then shipped to the Ford agency.
