With my daily driver Dodge half snowed in, it seemed like the perfect time to chain up the '26 Touring and run some waste oil down to the local Eco Centre for recycling. I was thinking back to a few years when we put my chains and their skis on our local historic park's '25 Tudor (photos below), and wondered about building a pair of skis for my Touring.
Can anyone post photos and or plans for home-made Model T front wheel skis as further inspiration? Many thanks!
Love the accessory skis !!!
Here is mine from about 35 years ago...
Now I just put the chains on and go!

I just wrap rope around the wheels. It doesn't mar the spokes and gets the job done just fine!
The skis are interesting to me. I wonder, if the rear of the ski doesn't curl up like the front, is backing difficult, as in preventing the ski from digging in?
