$125.00 in 1916? Wonder what that is in todays money? Seems very spendy for the time.
Before Ford put the 21 inch wires on in late 1925, wire wheels were very unusual on Ford cars. I have often speculated that there are more pre'26 Fords with wire wheels on them today than there were before 1925. I would bet there are more brass era Ts with wire wheels today than there were before 1917. I have looked closely at many hundreds, probably into the thousands, of era photos of automobiles. Not counting ads for the wire wheel companies and photos of racing cars? I probably have not seen even thirty pre'26 Ts with wire wheels on them taken before 1925.
I do enjoy seeing them. This one, I am fairly sure I have not seen before. And they are not typical of the era on Ts.
