Heres a few pics of my 27 touring. I have the engine out and taking it to Tulsa monday to be re-built. I thought this is a good time to do a re-paint and clean-up of everything. She looks real sad. Im only doing a good shade tree re-paint and leaving the top and uphoulstery in it for now. Just trying for a nice facelift not a show job. There is a before and a couple as now pics. Wish her luck....
That Shovel Head is pretty impressive too.
Your close. Its a 1966 Ironhead. It was chopped in 1966 and Im the 2nd owner. There is nothing newer than 1970 on the bike and is loaded with period correct chopper parts. I can not ride it much any more but a old biker can never quit. It is kept road ready and always starts 3rd kick. I like my Ts to start the same way, on 3rd pull of the crank. My 27 touring is not very impressive right now, maybe by spring.??
