Last week I sent out my two Becker alternators to Daryl Becker in NC. One I bought way back in 2010 and the other 2011. They were both working just fine but at idle they would stop charging. I E mailed Mr. Becker and he said to send them to him. In less than a week he not only sent them back but replaced them with completely new alternators to boot at no charge, Not even shipping. Now that's service. He's getting a 6 volt positive ground alternator together for my 49 Plymouth now.Daryl Becker is following in his father legacy and now is making a legacy of his own. If you need an alternator I highly recommend Daryl Becker. His phone number is 336-601-7786

I always figured if your going to complain about bad service, you should compliment good service.

I appreciate your comments.

When someone does good, they should be recognized for there efforts.

Bud, Donnie, and Will.
We SHOULD talk about the good guys and seldom do. I for one am anxiously waiting for Mr. Becker's alternator that looks like a generator. I suspect he will be happy with his sales.

Another that gets overlooked frequently are the "local T hero's" you seldom hear about. Around here (pacific Northwest (PNW) Steve Tomaso is a parts supplier, T mechanic, and a source of all too frequently free advice. He gets my vote for the PNW guru..

I met Steve a couple of years ago at Chickasha. Our visit wasn't long, but I was impressed. He knows some stuff about Model T's.

I bought these red coils from Steve back in '97, after meeting him on the predecessor to this Forum. I met him later that year on a business trip to Seattle.

Great people.
