Does anyone know the recommended size fuel line to use on older, gravity fed T's where the tank is under the seat???
I believe it 1/4".
Rodney -- They were 1/4" originally, but lots of folks step up a size to 5/16".

Make sure u use a steel fuel line.
A coil of steel brake line from your local auto parts store works great.
You might save a few bucks buying a pre made brake line. They come in various lengths and if you know what you need you can get one a little longer. Plus, depending on what fittings you're using, you'll get 2 flared ends out of it which might be useful.
That steel line Charlie is talking about bends rather easily. Don't know how long u will need. I bought a steel brake line for my '56 Ford gas line and it bent easy, just watch not to kink it.
