Perhaps a '16 with updated radiator and hood? Also missing a lamp font and part of the plate glass in the upper windshield. I've heard stories about broken glass in the face and the lap.
Thanks Herb.

Richard,

I think you are correct -- late 1915 after the brass disappeared on the lamp doors to 1916 with the hood and radiator replaced.

Rationale:

1915-16 flat front fenders
1915-late 1916 rolled arm rest (no metal end cap)
1915-1916 curved but flat (no crown) rear fender
1915-early 1917 equal length windshield hinges

The later parts:
1917 – 1922 style radiator & hood (which will fit nicely over the 1915-1916 metal hood former (might be a source of rattles but hey what is one more rattle?)

Respectfully submitted,

Hap l9l5 cut off

How did they get the dog (looks like an Irish Setter) to stay still for the photo? Now that's a good trick "good dog"

Easy. You don't let the dog ride in the car, he has to follow it. Heh, heh, heh.

dean, do you mean to say your touring is worn out?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Dean Yoder on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 - 07:13 pm:

No the touring is just getting broken in. Good for another 100,000 miles.
