How can the teardrops from the Sweet Potato Petcock outlet be stopped?
This is on a 24/25 coupe. I have to shut off the gas on the sediment bulb to stop the tearing. Or have I answered my own question. I have a new non OE petcock. Most of my rad and oil petcocks have teardrops but I am more concerned with the gas drops.

Thanks

I've never had any luck with them. Even tried the re-pop "modern style" and they seep, although a bit less.

I have had some luck seating them with toothpaste and then after cleaning that out using Fuel lube. Eventually it will start again especially after some use.

I'd think the lapping compound should work. Might be something for the Timesaver stuff to do it a little faster. Make sure the spring is good also.
Many of those types of valves require a lubricating type of soap.

Good Luck
