Bruce Brown from Brownies custom wheels in Milton Wi. Passed away this morning. Bruce was a great guy! He made several sets of wheels for us as well as for others around the midwest. These last few years have been rough on him, but he still managed to help me last fall with the wheels on my coupe. The last set he made! He fought one hell of a fight! I am proud to say that he was my friend!
rest in peace Bruce, you will be missed!
My condolences to you for the loss of your friend and to the family.
Sorry to hear about this. Your wheels have a special meaning now.
Brian,
I am sorry to hear of your friends passing. Hopefully you and others will be able to comfort the family. And when someone has questions about about your car, one of the things you can share with them is about your friend. How he rebuilt the wheels for you and other things you remember about him.
Respectfully submitted,

It always saddens me to hear of the hobby oldtimers passing away, even if it is someone I do not know. It also saddens me when any friend of mine loses a friend or family of theirs.
But that is one of the realities of life. Someone had to die to make room for us, and we will have to pass on to make way for someone else later on.
My condolences. And for whatever they are worth, my prayers go to you, and to his family. Cherish those wheels. He can ride with you on any tour.
Drive carefully, and in spite of a loss, have a wonderful New Year! W2
Our prayers go his family, I have known Bruce since 1972, and he was one of the best, he was also into making cannons, Bob
Brownie's visitation is Monday, December 30th starting at 10AM at the Central Lutheran Church in Edgerton, WI. If you would like his wife's address please send a private message and I will get it to you. There are many of us that are riding on Brownie's wheels. He will be missed.
