I am thinking of having another pouring session for people to learn from. I have a brother in law that lives up in Lansing Michigan so I could go up there for a weekend. I am thinking of March or April, what do you think?
I'll do my best to attend, especially if one of the blocks is mine!!
Joe,There is the central T's chapter in Lansing and i'll bet many would like to see! Bud.
I would be there for sure as Lansing is 15 minutes away.
Bud, I have not asked the brother in law yet to do it at his place but if there is some one up that way that has air, torch and room for a get together let me know. I try to do some ones block from the party so I do not have to haul it also. let me know if you know some one up in that area. Thanks Joe
Joe,The contact info i have would be Duane Wells, and i think Tim might have a phone number??Bud.
Joe, Our club has what we call an "awful waffle seminar " at my shop about once a month in winter. I have air, torch and lots of room. When are you coming to Sacramento? Our next one will be taught by Milt Webb on assembling a Ruckstel. Why "awful waffle"? I make up a batch of waffle batter from scratch (yeast and all) and we have ham, maple syrup (the real stuff) fruit, coffee, juice and sausage. Babbitt work would be a great program.
Hal, I was going to make a comment but I've got this desire to go out to the kitchen instead.
I would love to join in! I have a nice late '15 block that needs bearings I cannot afford to have done. But I think I am a bit far away.
Hal, I guess I need to join your club. You are only about an hour from me. I might be able to make it to some of your sessions.
Drive carefully, and enjoy the New year! W2
Tim, let me know if some one wants to host it, Or my brother in law said his place would be fine but that is in West Phalia.
Tim, I would for sure go to Lansing as I only live only about 75 miles away. If your brother in law's place does not work out let me know as I have an idea where we could do this near there. Thanks. Joe
I would be interested. But I am about 3 hrs. north of Lansing, so I will have to see how it all works out.
You have been to my place, I have lots of air and gas and might be able to do it here depending on the number of people. Don't have a rosebud but could go buy one. Had the local T club over last year for a garage tour at about that time and they seemed to enjoy seeing speedster / racer parts and cars.
