Frontenac Model S head, exhaust manifold, new "Rocker Arm Specialties" valve train, new valves installed. This head was frozen and repaired in the 1940's $3,000.
It looks a little beat up, has it been used since it was reworked or is the dirt just from sitting on the shelf?
Are those weld-up patches over spark plugs 1 and 4? Valve shafts are missing caps over hold down screws, and missing washers on cotter keys. But that's a nice exhaust manifold.
It's been on the shelf for several years after being rebuilt. The water jackets held 25 pounds of pressure.
The welds do not cover any spark plug holes.
