Bob, thank you for posting more photos.
This looks like a great car.
You mentioned it has the 12 volt distributor installed, is there a picture of that side of the engine?
Also, maybe this is a novice question, but with a distributor, what is the condition of the magneto? Does the car hand start without a battery?

I will take picture and post. There is no Mag. Has oil slingers. I never tried to hand crank the car. But it would need the battery for starting spark.
