This is a rare single twist horn that came off an original 1912 Torpedo Runabout over 60 years ago. Not a ding or a dent on it. The original screen and cover are in mint condition as well. Very hard horn to find. $375 plus shipping.
This is an all original trunk off an early Torpedo Runabout. Still has original paint and stripping on the lid and on the base. Again it is very straight metal and I don't see one ding or dent in it anywhere. Exceptional original condition. It measures about 29" long by 11" deep and 11" high. $650 plus shipping.
Larry: What is the number stamped into the latches on the trunk? I may have a key for it.
Hello Jack, I do not see any number stamped on the Latches.
The only stamping on them I can see is: "Corbin Cabinet Lock Co.New Britain Conn. USA.
Thank You Jack,
Larry, who is the maker of the horn?
Not sure, The torpedo horns had no stamping like the Rubes or Standard horns did.
Saxon is the manufacturer they had 2 horns that they made that were used on the torpedo beside the most often seen double twist horns. Nice horn Larry.
Thank You John,
Appreciate the information.
