How big is this meet? I'm trying to justify an 8 hour drive.
Robert, you didn't post what city you live in but your drive is probably much easier than someone coming up thru LA from San Diego...
I doubt you'll be disappointed since you have an early car. If you have the time and have never been it's one that you have to do at least once!
See you there
Agree, its well worth the drive from Folsom.
Well said worth the drive from Newcastle ca And if you have never Been to Buck Owens ( Crystal place.)I suggest that!!
I am trying hard to make it this year.
I am dropping off in Miami, FL tomorrow - then it looks like I am headed to Richmond, IN with a " special delivery " ....
Couldn't agree more about Buck Owens palace
Small but quality meet by all
Well worth the drive from Reno Sparks Nv
So what's a Buck Owens Palace?
It's Buck Owens' Chrystal Palace restaurant and music hall. Ground zero for the western country music scene. Home of the Bakersfield sound. Killer steaks too.
I sceduled our trip to CA so that we could make this meet. We are driving from Key Largo (just a little farther than you Jim).
Have only missed 1 since they started, and would not have missed that one,'cept the saw bones was installing some stints in my pump.
This is the best all time brass era swap meet bar none anywhere in the US. I have participated in Hershey for many years and Chickasha until it crashed and burned.I have never failed to score god stuff and meet some very fine car folks. The is the last best one left.
Must agree, it's a great meet. I wasn't aware chickasha had crashed and burned? Last year it was well worth the trip.

I'm also heading for Bakersfield with a big truck load of parts, including a set of 5 Pasco wire wheels & hubs, three ruckstells, two small drum and one large drum. lots and lots of small parts, tables full of magnetos and carburetors. Lots of good stuff and a few surprises!! Look forward to the meet!
I'll be on the hunt for a good used or rebuilt nh carb, adjusting rod, and choke pull to replace the model a set up for my 26 roadster and a good 6 volt horn for my A. It will be my first time at this meet and I'm really looking forward to it.
Im still looking for that Model H winfield. I may be bringing some "swap stock" as well.
Bill, i might be interested in those pascos. I have one set plus a couple extras
Stan, Here's a little better description of the Pascos. Five wheels, four are ready to mount on the car with brand new Ward's Riverside black tires,(less than two months old and have never been driven on). New tubes and flaps. Two rear hubs with small brake drums, but I have a pair of large drums that I will throw in. Two front hubs. One Spare tire mounting hub that needs to have the drive lugs made and installed. The fifth wheel does need to have some work done in the drive lug area, but it also has a brand new matching tire, tube and flap installed. Five hub cap "assemblies". I believe the hub caps are reproductions. I do NOT have the special wrench. These wheels are exactly as I bought them, but I had to buy two sets of wire wheels and these are extras. I'd like to get $5000.00 for everything, but I'm willing to negotiate a LITTLE. Give me a call or send a message and we can discuss the details further.
Looks like I am headed to Kansas from Indiana ....
