this is a 100% original, frame off restoration of a Canadian 4 door touring car. all era correct options, balanced aluminum piston engine one off small drum rocky mountain brakes 'float a ford" front suspension, rear hasslers and an original Atwater Kent distributor with electronic ignition inards. too much to list.

1917 model T Ford 4 door touring.
Restoration started in 2000, driven since approx. 300 miles mostly in parades and two model t ford club events.
Details;
100% original body and all interior woodwork. Original wood body frame rails and floorboards wood firewall. Wood framed doors.
All sheet metal is in like new condition. Body only needed sanding and paint. New wheels and tires, Demountable Kelsey Hayes. Front spring is an accessory ‘float a ford” unit. Steering wheel exchanged for a smaller diameter 1913 brass spider unit. Rear end rebuilt, new bronze thrust washers/ bearings. One off small drum rocky mountain brakes operated off hand brake.rear "Hassler" spring/shocks Non stock starter button on dash with solenoid under frame.
Engine rebuilt with new valves, Egge aluminum pistons and adjustable tappets. Stock grind on cam. Transmission is stock with rebuilt clutch pack. Mag coil removed but included in sale. Atwater Kent distributor fitted with petronics electronic ignition. Alternator installed in stock location 12 volt system for ignition. All new upholstery and top, rare aftermarket top bow clamps fitted after delivered from factory as this car originally was ordered without a top.
Brass trim on headlights, cowl lights, accessory mirror and steering wheel.
Runs as well as a T can be! and it’s black.
