(4)21" disc wheels. Original matching set. Front hubs go with them. Located in Union City, IN 47390, $2000
Nice wheels. They are bone stock mid 20's Chevrolet and are the style that takes a plate on the outside for the lugnuts to go against.FYI
Thanks Steve! I think these are the plates? They didn't make it into the original picture.
What we could do for the rear hub and brake? I'm curious to understand how it is work.
Yup,those look like the plates. I'm no expert on putting them on the rears but I think you have to modify T rear hubs to fit this bolt pattern. Then you have the stock T rear brake drum. Maybe someone else that has done it will contribute.
BTT - Thanks!
Not mine, but there's currently one wheel for sale like these on the west coast. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/pts/d/model-disc-wheel-6-lug/6360076089.html
Shoot me an offer if interested!
Dan. is there a known way to adapt these wheels onto Mid-20's Model T's thanks
Dan,Since my post I picked up a T front axle that has the Chevy front hubs. There have been wanted posts here that are looking for Chevy spindles to put on the T I-beam axle to accommodate Chevy hubs,it looks like the axle I have has the original T spindles. This axle, more than likely, was under a trailer as the tierod is clamped to the wishbone and the front crossmember is hanging on the spring but on the under side of it. The bottom side of the wishbone ball is flattened probably from dragging. If anyone is interested in it I would take $165. It has the Chevy hubcaps so the bearings should be good. It could be shipped but the wishbone would have to be removed. A ride to Chickasha is possible. Please PM me if interested.
Are new Rims available for these wheels?
Or will 21" t rims fit them?
Still have these if anyone is looking for a nice original matching set!
If anyone interested--I have a set of five Chevy rims in excellent condition!
