This is the former Sierra Railway MW6, built in the Jamestown, CA roundhouse in the 1920s. This Model T powered inspection car has been private ownership since the 1960s. I have restored the car to operating condition with a fresh rebuilt engine and transmission. An enclosed cab project is unfinished. SRy modified the T differential with two ring gears and a sliding pinion for full speed operation in either direction. Early photos available.
