Seems like the Scammer has moved up to model As
and still one 1915 Red Touring, The cars I have observed are Grey 1928 Model A Roadster, $6500. Tan 1928 Model A Deluxe $8000. and a green model A $7000. and a few others as well. Which I all hit the prohibited ZAP icon.

These scams are easy to spot and ZAP as they have a few common areas, that can be profiled to find other scams, # 1 very cheap price for a pristine looking car. # 2 only one picture, if you place Your cursor on a suspected scam, no side arrows for additional pictures appear. # 3 short Narrative on car for sale. # 4 only CL web link no phone numbers or other contact info, # 5 Scammer asks You to cut and paste Your e-mail address So he can contact You directly by passing CL com link and learning Your e-mail address.

Please pass this on to the A forum and if You see one that fits the profile just ZAP it and ask questions later. If We all are on the lookout for these scams and ZAP their phony ads it will turn up the heat on these Turkeys maybe they will move
on to Greener pastures.

Freighter Jim, what you say is very true.

But Black Friday sales that were in the billions of dollars tend to contradict that theory somewhat, most every body wants a deal / bargain, but its buyer beware, and legitimate bargains although rare are out there for the finding. like panning for gold.

Jim,

Black Friday - Cyber Monday - etc. are traditional annual discount days for major retailers - intended to generate other purchases.

Craigslist scam ads pander to Greed and Avarice 24 hours a day - 365 days a year.

Apples & Oranges comparison.

Some folks think they need to be protected against
the consequences of their own actions when they
exercise poor judgement - they refuse to take responsibility
for bad decision making.

When You Expect Something For Nothing - Donít Be Surprised When You Get Nothing For Something.

Plain & Simple Truth is that the majority of these Craigslist Scams would not succeed if folks on the buying end were not greedy.

The advertisements target Greed - if you are of that persuasion - sometimes they Succeed.

If you want a ď Good Deal ď - go to a yard sale or a swap meet or get in your truck & take a drive around your neighborhood.

Craigslist was intended for local Buyers & Sellers to connect.

If used as intended it is an effective marketplace.

I have personally never had a bad experience in (17 ) years
of buying and selling on Craigslist.
