The car was built around 1961 by Jim Drake. He ran it in the famous Long Beach Hill Climbs. Dad bought it from Jim about 15 years ago.
-BB Rajo crossflow head
-dual Stromberg 81 carburetors
-dual plug ignition (Nissan 200SX)
-12 volt alternator
-Bill Jenks camshaft
-custom water pump
-full pressure oiling
It has a good working Ruckstell rear axle. 4:50x21 artillery wheels with good Firestone tires. Cosmetics are all 1961, the paint is cracking, vinyl interior is good, top is tired. For a driver or a hill climb car, it has great patina. It ran when put into storage, and a fluid flush and carburetor rebuild should get it running.
The car is in Huntington Beach California, licensed and is PNO status.
