Colin, could you measure the widest bolt spacing width possible on the front license plate brackets? In other words, a plate has two holes at the top. How wide apart can these holes be and still bolt to the bracket? I have an early leather plate, and it's longer than modern plates. It looks like the rusty one might allow a larger spacing, but it looks like the rusty one might also have some mods to it.

Colin,
To what do those license plate brackets mount?

The bolt slot is 9.25 inch at the widest 7 inches at the smallest most modern plates are standard at 7 inches. The other one I have was on a 1917 Model T and mounted on the right side head lamp post. Cheers Colin
